Free Medical, Dental, and Vision, Insurance From Day One
Clinical One offers every travel and contract employee a choice between three (3) CIGNA medical plans plus a Dental and Vision plan. Insurance is available on your first day of full-time employment. Don’t need insurance? You can waive health insurance and receive an extra $1 an hour for your entire assignment.
Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage
Clinical One offers Standard Life Benefits up to $25,000 and AD&D coverage up to $25,000. Eligibility for Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment begins on the first day of employment with Clinical One. Employees are eligible to participate in these free benefits even if you are not enrolled in either the health or dental plans.
Paid Pre-Assignment Drug Screens
Clinical One will pay the full cost of all required pre-employment drug screens.
Free Unlimited CEU Courses
Through our
CEU program with Nursing Spectrum/NurseWeek magazines, you are eligible for free, unlimited continuing education units while you are working for Clinical One.
401(k) Plan
Candidates are eligible to enroll in our 401K retirement plan after you’ve completed 1,000 hours of work in two, three, or four consecutive calendar quarters.
- You may invest 1- 30% of your pre-tax compensation, not to exceed the annual maximum allowed by the IRS. If you meet the definition of an IRS Highly Compensated Employee your contributions to the plan may be limited.
- You may change your salary deferral percentage at any time by contacting Fidelity Investments directly. The deferral change will take place 1-2 pay periods after you make the request through Fidelity.
- You have 24-hour access to your account simply by calling (800) 835-5095 or logging onto www.401k.com.
Our plan allows for rollovers from other qualified plans from day one of employment. If you are enrolled in the 401(k) plan, and leave Clinical One for a period of time and then re-assign with Clinical One you will not have a waiting period again. You can immediately start contributing via payroll deductions when your contract has started, as long as you did not cancel the plan when you left initially.
Direct Deposit, Pay Cards, & Weekly Pay
In today's fast-paced world, we know you can’t always make it to the bank on pay day. We offer a number of options to receive your pay weekly. Pay cards allow you access to your paycheck at ATM’s, retail locations, and anywhere else that a password-based debit card is accepted. With direct deposit or a pay card, your pay is guaranteed every Friday.
Referral Bonuses
Receive a $250 bonus for any healthcare professional you refer to Clinical One. Just make sure the candidate lists your name in the "referred by" section of our application and once they successfully complete their first assignment the check will be in the mail to you. It’s that simple!

Clinical One employs a full-time Clinical Liaison to serve as a resource to our candidates while on assignment. If you have any clinical questions or concerns, or just need professional advice, our Clinical Liaison is here for you.
Optional Disability Insurance
Clinical One offers optional disability insurance to all employees through our partner, William Gallagher Associates. You can choose from a variety of waiting periods and these policies offer protection in the form of tax free payments of up to 60% of your income if you are disabled. Premiums can be paid monthly or quarterly.
Additional Benefits Offered on Travel Assignments only
Free, Private Housing or Housing Subsidy: Every travel employee receives a free, private, furnished one-bedroom apartment, including paid security deposits and basic utilities with every travel assignment. Don't need an apartment? We will give you a monthly stipend in lieu of a free apartment.
Each apartment is furnished with the following items:
- Queen or full size bed with headboard
- Dresser with mirror
- Night stand and lamp
- Dinette table with 4 chairs
- Loveseat
- Sofa
- End table and lamp
- Coffee table
Clinical One's Housing Department is here to assist you with your housing needs. If you are traveling with someone and request larger accommodations, we can search for the appropriate size apartment - and order the furnishings for you! You will only be responsible for the difference in the price from the one bedroom to the larger apartment, and any additional furnishings.
Travel Reimbursement
We will reimburse $0.50 per mile up to $250 each way (more for certain destinations), making getting to your travel assignment a little easier for you. If you are in need of a rental car, Clinical One can provide assistance through our Avis Rental Car Program.
Free License or Certification Reimbursement
Clinical One will reimburse you for licensure endorsement fees (which vary from state to state). Or, we can offer up to $75 per assignment for any certification fees.
Advanced Certification Reimbursement
After successfully completing the advanced specialty certification exam, we reimburse your testing fee and your first year’s association membership on your third assignment or after. $1,000 Bonus For 26-Week Contracts
Book and complete a 26-week assignment and Clinical One will pay you a $1,000 completion bonus! This will allow you more time to work and play in your new city - which also means less packing and moving!
Extension Benefits
Extend your assignment for a full contract and Clinical One will offer you a week of free rent for time off, in addition to a paid, round-trip travel expense or a $500 extension bonus.
Unlimited Bonus Potential
