hiring standards

Clinical One is Joint Commission certified

Clinical One's high standards of quality allow us to provide our clients with only the most qualified and trained healthcare professionals in the industry.

Our hiring standards require a minimum of one year of recent experience in an acute care setting within the candidate's specific discipline. However, over 85% of Clinical One's candidates have an average of 4 to 6 years of experience or more. A large part of our screening process is focused on ensuring that the candidate is not only clinically sound, but that they also possess the flexibility to go into a new hospital environment with minimal orientation and adapt quickly to the policies and procedures of the facility. The successful candidate must possess expertise in their area of specialty as well as be the right cultural fit for your facility. This is accomplished through interviewing, testing and extensive referencing. Competency is evaluated by obtaining and evaluating a thorough skills checklist, a complete review of prior work experience including type and size of the healthcare facility, review of prior travel experience, specific skills assessment testing in the area of specialty, and clinical evaluations. Our referencing process seeks feedback on both clinical competency as well as behavioral and professional skill sets.

Finally, before a healthcare professional arrives at your facility they are required to complete a comprehensive orientation and onboarding process that includes required training for all healthcare professionals. Our credentialing specialists will ensure they have a recent criminal background check in place, an active and clear professional license, CPR and other specialty certifications, OSHA and other annual training, medical screening to include physical, PPD, and immunizations as well as any other pre-employment health screening or other documentation your facility requires.
