Whether veteran travelers or new to the mobile arena, most healthcare professionals agree that trust is an essential ingredient in a successful recruiter-traveler relationship. Major factors that strengthen this bond include recruiter availability, success in securing placement, and the ability to consistently ensure housing satisfaction, among others. Being miles away from home and frequently alone, it is not surprising that many travelers view their recruiters as more than competent professionals who are willing to go the extra mile to obtain assignments and protect their interests. Recruiters are seen as good friends who offer support, encouragement, and comfort when they are needed most.
This year, individuals from 56 companies were chosen by their travelers to receive Healthcare Traveler's 2004 "Recruiters of the Year" honor-many for the second year in a row. In recognition of their achievements, the representatives who obtained the majority of votes for each company will be presented with a personalized certificate, suitable for framing. Come celebrate with us as we showcase those recruiters whose professional expertise has helped make traveling an enjoyable, and often effortless, experience.

"Amanda has been the single most important and positive factor in my 1 1/2 years as a traveler. She has always found the perfect jobs for me, is willing to spend the time to talk to me about any concerns, and is my biggest advocate in the traveling world. She goes above and beyond in every aspect of being a recruiter. I've referred four friends to Amanda, all of whom are extremely pleased with her, as well."
