Outright JCAHO Certification
Wakefield, MA - May 3, 2005 - Clinical One National Healthcare
Professionals announced today that its travel and contract
staffing divisions have received certification by the
Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
(JCAHO) under its Healthcare Staffing Services Certification
Program.
Clinical
One, a member of the Vedior Group of companies, offers
travel, contract, per diem and direct hire staffing services to hospitals
and healthcare facilities in need of registered nurses
and allied healthcare professionals nationwide. Clinical
One also places contract and permanent professionals in
the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries
via their Life Sciences Group.
"Our
certification demonstrates to our clients and employees
that we are committed to providing and continuously improving
the quality of our staffing services. By having undergone
this rigorous evaluation, we can provide our clients with
an even greater level of confidence that the processes
within Clinical One have met the stringent requirements
set by the Joint Commission. Ultimately, our certification
will support our clients in their efforts to achieve and
maintain their own accreditation and quality standards,”
said Cynthia Kinnas, Chief Operations Officer and co-founder
of Clinical One. Clinical One sees itself as a partner
to its clients in providing quality and safe patient care,
and is committed to continually improving its services
and providing healthcare staffing solutions that meet
the highest standards, Kinnas added.
The
certification program offers an independent, comprehensive
evaluation of a staffing firm’s abilities to provide quality
staffing services. Key processes such as the verification of credentials
and competencies of health care staff are scrutinized.
Standards address topics such as leadership, human resources management, performance
measurement and improvement, and information management.
JCAHO is considered to be the preeminent standard
setting and accrediting body in healthcare. Certification
acknowledges the company's compliance with the Joint Commission's
national set of consensus-based standards.
