What qualifications do I need to work as a per diem healthcare professional?
Per diem healthcare professionals need to be licensed with at least one year of recent experience and strong references.
What is the average length of an assignment?
Many healthcare professionals choose per diem work because they like the benefit of scheduling their job around life commitments. Per diem shifts are ideal for individuals interested in working flexible, day to day assignments and short-term contracts (1 to 13 weeks) in their local area. We can provide you with as many hours as you'd like to have.
How do I get started with Clinical One?
You can either apply online, via fax or mail or in person at our local office in your area. Once you have been accepted into our program, you will be contacted by the local office.
How fast can I begin working?
Once we have received and processed your application and you have completed our in-house orientation, we're ready when you are! It's up to you when you want to start an assignment.
What are your salaries?
We offer competitive pay rates for all professions. Your hourly rate depends on your specialty, experience and assignment location.
Is there a minimum number of hours I need to work to maintain active employment?
The number of hours or shifts you work is totally up to you. Clinical One does not require a minimum number of shifts/hours per week, weekends nor holidays to maintain active employment.

Do you offer 401(k)?
Yes! You become eligible after completing 1000 hours of service in 2, 3, or 4 consecutive calendar quarters. Clinical One matches 100% of the first $750 that you contribute, and 50% of the next $1500 dollars that you contribute.
Payroll FAQs
How often will I be paid?
As a Clinical One Per Diem employee, you will be paid daily or weekly and can enroll in direct deposit or have your pay deposited onto a pay card.
Does Clinical One pay employer-related taxes?
Yes, Clinical One will deduct Federal, FICA, and any applicable state and local withholding taxes from your paycheck.
