Are there any additional fees above and beyond the hourly rate?
No. Our hourly rate is an all-inclusive rate that is billed to you based on hours worked by the employee. The hourly rate encompasses the following:
- Hourly salary
- Differentials
- Payroll taxes
- Professional liability insurance
- Worker's Compensation
- Health Insurance
- Round-trip travel/transportation
- Furnished, private housing or monthly subsidy
- Licensure reimbursement
- 401 (k)
- Other employee benefits and perks
- Administrative Fees
In addition, many of our client facilities are now offering completion bonuses to candidates as an additional incentive in this demanding, competitive marketplace. In these cases, Clinical One normally pays the bonus directly to the employee at the completion of their assignment and invoices the facility the following week.
What are your time requirements to fill orders?
The length of time we require to find a qualified candidate for your need can range from one hour to several days. This may vary depending upon availability of staff, licensure, specialty of the healthcare professional, location, pay rate or additional incentives such as bonuses.
Can I extend a traveler through Clinical One?
Extensions for Clinical One travelers are available at your request. We encourage our clients to extend travelers as a way to provide continuity of coverage. We can extend travelers for any length of time that meets the needs of your facility. If you are interested in extending a traveler, please contact your Account Manager as soon as possible, as in many cases we will need to make housing arrangements for the traveler.
Is there a fee if we hire one of your travelers on a direct basis?
There is no direct hire fee once a candidate has completed twenty-six (26) weeks of work at your facility as a traveler with Clinical One. As you know, this time period gives you a good chance to evaluate and monitor the candidate's skills and performance in determining whether or not they would be a good permanent fit for your facility. A direct hire is defined as any permanent full-time, part-time or pool position where they no longer remain on Clinical One's payroll. Should you choose to hire a Clinical One traveler after completion of a thirteen- (13) week assignment, there would be a nominal placement fee incurred by your facility. In this instance, a minimum of a thirty- (30) day notice in writing is required.
